With Labor Day behind us and Summer beginning to wind down, I would like

With the Holiday Season upon us, I would like to provide you with an end of the year update regarding some of the priorities my staff and I focused on in our first year at the Boston City Council.

Due to the relentless advocacy of community leaders like Marleen Neinhus and the Friends of the South End Library, we were able to work closely with Mayor Walsh and his budget staff to help secure $400,000 for the South End Branch of the Boston Public Library.

In recent weeks you may have heard the reports of stray voltage affecting dogs around the city. Due to the public safety issues involved and because pets are members of our families too, I will be hosting a working session regarding stray voltage at City Hall at 1 PM on May 18th.
